WHS Officer

Frankly Built is seeking an experienced and proactive WHS Officer to lead site safety and compliance across our luxury villa construction and commercial fit-out projects in Dubai. With over a decade of experience, the ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of safety systems, local regulations, and practical site management in high-end environments. You will play a key role in ensuring all project activities meet legal, regulatory, and company safety standards — while promoting a culture of accountability, awareness, and safe work practices on site.

Key Responsibilities
• Implement, monitor, and enforce WHS policies, procedures, and site-specific safety plans
• Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations
• Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, DDA, and other regulatory bodies
• Deliver toolbox talks, safety inductions, and ongoing training to site personnel
• Maintain WHS documentation, inspection logs, and reporting registers
• Work with Site Managers and Project Managers to improve safety performance across all projects
• Support the close-out of NCRs, audit findings, and authority-related safety requirements
• Drive continuous improvement in WHS standards across multiple job sites

Qualifications & Experience
• Minimum 10 years of WHS/OHS experience in the construction industry
• Relevant qualifications in Work Health and Safety (Cert IV or Diploma)
• Strong knowledge of UAE safety legislation, DM/DDA regulations, and fit-out safety risks
• Experience on live construction and high-end interior fit-out sites
• Demonstrated ability to influence teams and promote a positive safety culture
• Strong reporting, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
